Thanks to all that helped you... / Jane Bates (Mummy) Kayla lived a brief life. Although i am so thankful for a precious week with her and would like to thank all those that made it possible to have her here with us for that time.
Dr.Yarnton- Thank you for detecting pre-eclampsia. People may say you were all just doing your job... but it goes beyond this.
Ben O'Sullivan- Thank you for saving my life and delivering my beautiful daughter into this world.
Andy Mitchell- Thank you for giving Kayla a chance to live and allowing us to spend the best week of our lives with her.
Claire Trees- The best midwife in the world and the most caring person i have come across. So glad you were there to see Kayla's amazing entrance into the world. Thank you for all your support and understanding.
To all the staff nurses in ITU- Thank you for taking care of me whilst i recovered from eclampsia.
Martin Slack- Thank-you for doing all you could for our little girl. We admired your efforts and honesty although we never wanted to accept her fate. The 'hope' remained for a week, and the memories a lifetime.
To all the nurses on the NICU- Thank you for taking good care of our daughter whilst she was with you on the unit. Your encouragement and support meant alot to us and you all do such a marvellous job. Alesha- You spent more time with Kayla than any of us, thank you for giving Kayla her last bath and nappy change and for doing her foot and hand prints for us. We will cherise them.
To Lisa Else, and all the midwives on A5, St.Marys hospital. Thank you for the lovely cake you gave me on my birthday and for taking good care of me, and helping me express my milk.
To Mark Selinger and Liz Donovan- Thank you Mark for collecting Kayla from Basingstoke and transporting her safely to Portsmouth. Liz- Thank-you for your support on the night we said goodbye to our precious angel.
Father Vincent Harvey- Thank-you for conducting Kayla's funeral. It was perfect and we all did her proud. You blessed her and raised her up to god and now she is looking down on us from heaven. Dear Lord, I was going to sit my daughter on my knee and tell her all about you but i never got the chance. So will you sit her on your knee and tell her all about me. |
